Here is the summary with the first results of the research project carried out by LabàPart on The State of Participation in the Spanish Infosphere. This report is devoted to social media as journalistic device, focusing especially on Twitter. It has been presented at the IAMCR 2011 Conference recently held in Istanbul (medusian city, a live social media).
